Kinda uninspiring, bare trees, bare field, and very muddy.
But it started getting better…
And we added a shed.
More and more of the plethora of plants from the (soon to be old) house were moved, and the gardens continued to expand.
Josh learned to drive a tractor.
The kids learned to love boots and what a hoe is for.
The boys found a toad in the gardens, which is a good sign (they are very sensitive to pesticides and stuff, so finding amphibians in the field is unexpectedly good news!). We’ve also found a couple of black snakes, one baby raccoon, a lot of ticks (three varieties), and about a million dragonflies.
Welcome to the farm; the adventures will continue to be documented as time allows.
